Emily Frazier

Emily grew up in Louisiana, Texas, and Missouri and has been teaching dance since 2002. She attended Stephens College with a combination of academic and talent based scholarships. While in college, Emily was on the Dean’s List with High Honors. She held many offices in the dance department and student government, and graduated in 3 years with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree in Dance. After college Emily moved to Florida to become a performer at Walt Disney World. From there, she went on to see the world, performing on four continents for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Once returning to land, Emily did two national tours dancing for Sesame Street Live. Emily has been living and teaching dance in L.A. since 2014. In L.A., Emily performs with “Clave y Tumbao Salsa and Bachata Team”, Liz Lira Dance Company, was the dance captain for the Lotus Dancers International Dance Company for two years, she has been in music videos, danced in the R.A.W Artist Showcase, and does freelance dancing for Dreamworks Animation, among other credits. One of Emily’s proudest accomplishments is her Girl Scout Gold Award Project; for her project she partnered with ReStart to start up and run a dance and gymnastics summer camp for homeless children in Kansas City while their parents went on job interviews and received job training. At the end of each day of the camp all of the families received a free lunch. Emily couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the LADA family and to pass her love of dance onto the next generation of dancers.
